I try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe. Clear product descriptions save time and reduce the chance of disappointment. Sometimes I still make mistakes with size, so a friendly exchange policy is very helpful. Of course shipping delays can happen, but good communication reduces stress. I also check if the store explains how to measure PD and frame size clearly. Some charts are very generic and do not match real measurements at all.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Shipping speed is not everything, but extremely slow delivery is very annoying. The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. If a piece of jewelry keeps its color and does not irritate the skin, I consider it a win. I think this is one of the few real advantages we have compared to shopping blindly.
Just sharing my personal feedback.
