So I’ve had my Mini Cooper for about three years now and I absolutely love the car, but the paintwork is really starting to get me down. I’ve always been careful with washing it, using the two-bucket method and quality microfiber towels, but somehow the paint has still ended up covered in swirl marks and fine scratches. It’s especially noticeable on the darker paint, and it really takes away from the car’s appearance, especially when the sun hits it and all those imperfections just stand out. I’ve tried a few DIY polishes and even bought a random orbital polisher, but I just couldn’t get the results I was hoping for and I’m worried about burning through the clear coat if I keep trying myself. I’m thinking it’s time to hand it over to a professional who really knows what they’re doing with paint correction. I’ve been looking around and I’m considering a Premium Mini Cooper detailing service in Abu Dhabi that seems to specialize in these cars, but I wanted to check here first if anyone has had paint correction done on their Mini and what sort of results they got. I’m hoping they can get the paint back to looking like new and maybe even suggest some protection to keep it looking good for longer. Has anyone else had issues with swirl marks on their Mini and got them sorted properly?
